Yes, i'll have look thanks.
I was looking at HD based systems that is why the Sonos appealed and the logitech squeezebox setup also appealed. I think HD based if definitely the way to go. I would like to get rid of alot of my cd's really.
We use a timeshare villa that has B&O TV stereo setup and while aesthetically it's very stylish, sound and visuals are good, its obviously style over substance. Our Pioneer panel looks a lot better than the B&O and SOnos still seems very well priced for what it offers. Considering crestron et al offer basic wireless systems for vastly more expenditure- I realise they are aimed at the pro market but its still multiroom audio and video at the end of the day.
Someone has recommeded Cambridge Incognito aswell which looks ideal but needs cat5 cabling and that means ripping walls and replastering. So not really retro fit item, but is very competively priced and expandable. Will keep this on the list for now.
