I use 8 Amplimo modules, 4 A180 and 4 A120 for about 20 years and I had to replace already 11 of them, some even twice hence. Apart from their notorious unreliability there are more or less serious design flaws in them:
All modules have a 20 - 60 mV positive DC offset on their output, which points to an unbalanced input differential amp. That increases also the distortion by the way.
There is a serious grounding issue in the modules: the input ground is tied to the power supply ground. That inevitable leads to hum problems in multi channel amplifiers that are very hard to solve.
Most of the reliability issues come from an awkward way of mounting the power transistors to the heatsink. Almost all the solder joints break sooner or later.
Another by the way: Amplimo scrapes of the part numbers of key IC's and refuses to provide schematics so that repair is almost impossible, apart from redoing the solder joints that sit behind the easily removable plastic covers that is.
Those modules are ridiculously expensive, so the quality/cost ratio is far below par. You can better buy brand multi channel amplifiers, that's both cheaper and better. In the beginning, I got some defective modules replaced but Amplimo stopped doing that, probably because they were overwhelmed by the sheer number of defective units.
