Bloom Posted 7 oktober 2023 Report Share Posted 7 oktober 2023 (edited) Iceland Symphony Orchestra, Osmo Vänskä (dirigent) Jón Leifs: Symphony, Concerto and Dances Met een waarschuwing van platenmaatschappij BIS dat dit een torenhoge dynamiek heeft (gemeten DR16) en dus je speakers kan opblazen als je het volume te hoog draait. Mijn reactie daarop voor mijn installatie is altijd geweest: BRING IT ON! BIS heeft ondertussen een flink aantal cd's met deze waarschuwing erop. Prachtig! De muziek is magistraal en het orkest maakt gebruikt van speciale Viking koperblaasinstrumenten (je mag ze geen trompetten of hoorns noemen) en enorme voorhamers (iets wat Mahler ook gebruikte in zijn zesde symfonie).
