Hier vind je de 'officiele' software patch en instructies om de Denon DVD-A1 regiovrij te maken.

 

De website is soms niet aktief vanwege de download limiten...

 

Deze software is niet geschikt voor de 2800mkII en DVD3800

 

Well, here is is...a bit later than expected, but worth the wait.  I had to leave my Compaq 3870 Pocket PC

with the dealer to assure him he'd get the firmware disc back, haha!

 

Click the relevant and download the zip file.

Extract the zipped files and burn them to a CD-R.

(DO NOT change the filenames as the update may not work)

 

1) Turn on the power.  Open the disc tray and load the CD-R disc.

 

2) Press "OPEN/CLOSE" button

 

3) The following indications appear on the FL display: "CLOSE"-"LOADING"-"WRITING"-COMPLETE"

 

4) On "COMPLETE", the disc tray will open.  Turn off the power.

While holding the "PLAY" and "OPEN/CLOSE" buttons on the unit down simultaneously, turn on the power of the unit.

The FL display indicates the Play and Pause symbols.  To close the disc tray press "OPEN/CLOSE" again.

 

5) Initialization: Turn off the power once, and then turn on again.

While holding the "SKIP FORWARD" (>>|) and "PLAY" (>) buttons simultaneously,

press the "OPEN/CLOSE" button for longer than 3 seconds until the display reads "INITIALIZE".

 

NOTE:

If "INITIALIZE" is not displayed on the first attempt, press SKIP FORWARD and PLAY

simultaneously followed by OPEN/CLOSE for more than 3 seconds again.  Repeat this procedure until successful.

Dit was wel de laatste hobbel geloof ik

Te koop: Denon DVD3300, met zeer veel draaiuren, dus goed ingespeeld

Nog niet.

 

Even wachten op productie series na augustus 2002.

 

De mpeg decoderchip die dan gemonteerd word heeft dan geen chroma bug meer. Eerdere versies worden gepatched met een software upgrade.

 

In Duitsland is ie overigens voor 3100 te vinden ipv de 4299 die ze er hier voor vragen.

 

Overigens weten die Duitsers wat hacken is.

Een fix voor de PAL progressive output voor de video uitgang naar RGB uit is in de maak.

 

Bah, ik moet nog even geduld hebben.
